Transnational project meeting in Esens
The third, and this time the last meeting of teachers – coordinators of the Erasmus+ project called bewell@school took place between the 5th and the 7th of December 2017 in the German partner /coordinator – school Niedersӓchsisches Internatsgymnasium in Esens.
The teachers from all four partner schools from Germany, Italy, Lithuania and Poland met to discuss what the students have managed to achieve and gain from the project so far and plan in detail students’ exchange meeting in February 2018 in Lithuania. Although the students started their active work in international groups online as soon as the meeting in Piacenza was over, the meeting in Esens was the right moment for the teachers to discuss, plan and finally polish off a truly exciting week for the students for their final exchange meeting.
Since be-healthy@school is the theme of the meeting, well-being is what everyone should focus on, with the four international groups dealing with four aspects – food, sports, addictions and lifestyle. Each group is supposed to present a part of a part of a teen magazine dedicated to promotion of a healthy lifestyle among teenagers. Hard as it may seem, this task will surely give both the students and the teachers some experience and a lot fun.
But the meeting was not hard work only , especially with the Christmas spirit around. Walking on the sandy beaches along the North Sea shores even with the temperatures dropping down to few above zero were quite delightful, as much as the local food, Christmas fair and Christmas song concert of the school choir. The hosts even persuaded Santa to drop in for a second with some presents for the guestsJ For which we would like to thank them a lot.
Merry Christmas / Happy Hols everyone!
