Transnational project meeting in Siauliai

The second coordinators’ meeting of Erasmus + programme be-well@school took place this March (14-16th) in Szawle, Lithuania. Its aim was to plan in detail the students’ meetings in May in Essens, Germany and in October in Piacenza, Italy.  In various exciting tasks, students will then deal with two following aspects of the project – be-ecofriendly and be-socially. The first meeting in Essens will be devoted mainly to the themes of ecology, environment, and well-being at school, e.g. ways of spending breaks between lessons in an active and healthy way.

Right now, grouped into four  international teams, students are working online (using online tools like etwinning platform) on four topics – “Food at School”, “Recycling”, “Ecoprint”, “School breaks.” The surveys they are currently working on will then be discussed and the results presented in Essens in the form of multimedia presentations .

The idea of integration will be the main theme of the meeting in Piacenza – integration understood as a response to social exclusion, egoism, indifference to what our future will be like.

The meeting in Szawle, though filled with hours of hard work, was an exciting opportunity to exchange teaching ideas, discuss and prepare tasks for the students and discover a small but lovely part of Lithuania. A great thank you to  the Lithuanian hosts for their hospitality and perect organization.
