Transnational project meeting in Piacenza

Project coordinators from Esens (Germany), Piacenza (Italy), Siausiali (Lithuania) and Przemyśl (Poland) met for the first time in Piacenza, in November 2016 (21-26 Nov.). The teachers met  to discuss the aims of the project and plan in detail the tasks for the first partners meeting in February 2017 in Przemyśl.

The project  called be-well@school.eu focuses on four aspects (one for each school) which will be dealt with during four consecutive meetings:

Four international groups were set up, with students working together to find ways to improve the quality of schoolwork and increase its efficiency  by the use of  digital media.

While preparing individual lessons for the meeting in Poland, students will communicate and exchange ideas using eTwinning . The first task they will be using eTwinning for is the logo of the project.

During the meeting in February the groups will discuss the results of a survey about students’ well-being at school , which was carried out in all four schools at the beginning of this school year. It focused on what is believed to  influence students’ performance at school – the role of the school and the teacher in students’ lives and  their future, the relationships among members of a class, eating habits, ways of spending free time in and outside of school. The survey will be repeated towards the end of the project to assess its impact on students’ well-being at school and by that check whether implementing the project was successful and profitable for the students or not.
